I just downloaded and installed Google Chrome. I heard about it last night when I saw some news stories about it, but until today 12pm PST only presentation was available on Google. Well, now when I am playing with it, its looks very fast!! I noticed significant speed difference when opening application like Gmail, google reader and pages like yahoo.com and Microsoft.com. It was not able to recognize silverlight though. so it couldn’t play graphics on Microsoft homepage. Adding bookmarks is simple and intuitive. its also keeping real good care of browsing history and show the page thumbnails when you open a new tab. I am going to write a full review of Chrome tomorrow or this weekend. But those of you who havent looked at comic book style presentation, the browser is expected to create new process for every new tab, thus improving memory management and also controls like back/forward buttons and address bar are given per tab instead of common for all tabs. I am sure Chrome will claim its space in the current browser world as Google has always done in past with its products.
